Dr. Raj Gaikwad is a Vice President of Advanced Fossil Technologies at Sargent & Lundy. Dr. Gaikwad has extensive experience with environmental control technologies and advanced power generation processes such as coal gasification and CO2 control. He has performed and supervised numerous engineering and economic evaluations and reported on particulate control technologies, air-toxics, and the SO2/NOx processes for simultaneously controlling SO2, NOx, particulate, air toxics, IGCC, and CCS. He has over 30 years of experience in the energy and environment industry and has published several papers in the area of Energy and Environment. Dr. Gaikwad received his master’s degree from IIT Bombay, India and Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Canada
