Stuart joined the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) in 2000. As Vice President for Safety & Training, Stuart serves the propane industry by managing the development, distribution, and evaluation of programs used to train and educate the propane workforce, propane consumers, and first responders on the safe use and handling of propane safety. This includes managing a team of industry volunteers, contractors and collaboration with code making bodies and the National Propane Gas Association’s workforce/employee training certification. Stuart also manages training and support programs for on and off road technologies that utilize propane such as propane autogas technicians other autogas stakeholders. Prior to working for PERC, Stuart served as Director for Occupational Safety & Training for the American Trucking Association, located in Alexandria, VA. Stuart possesses a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Science and a master’s degree in management.
