Darren Beck is a Safety Compliance Officer in the Austin Area OSHA Office. Darren became a Compliance Officer in 2010 and has conducted a variety of high profile incident investigations including; crane collapses, oil and gas explosions, excavation cave-ins, falls and electrocutions. Darren is a member of the Austin Area Office’s Strategic Team and spends a considerable amount of his time enforcing the Region 6 Construction Emphasis Program to reduce construction hazards in central Texas. Prior to working with OSHA, Darren retired honorably after serving 21 years in the U.S. Naval Submarine Force.
