Ms. Coffman leads the Staffing & Scheduling branch at The Transportation Security Administration. He is responsible for forecasting workloads and staffing requirements to future year Congressional budget requests as well as the annual allocation of resources to more than 400 airports. TSA uses a proprietary software built around discrete event simulation and schedule optimization to evaluate staffing requirements and how they will change based on changes in technology and air traffic. Mr. Coffman led the development of TSA’s current staffing model software and has been instrumental in TSA’s successful allocation of resources for more than 10 years. Prior to TSA, Mr. Coffman worked as an Industrial Engineer at FedEx for 7 years and graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering.
