Carla Menéndez McManus is a Commercial Officer at the Baltimore U.S. Commercial Service Office. She comes from the U.S. Department of State where she was a Foreign Affairs officer at the Permanent Mission of the United States to the Organization of American States (OAS). As an Alternate Representative to the OAS, she advanced U.S. interests in Economic Growth, Trade, Competiveness, Small and Medium Enterprises, Ports, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Tourism. In addition, she was the Alternate Representative to the OAS’ Committee on Budgetary and Administrative Affairs and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture.
