J.J. Bartlett is President of Fishing Partnership Support Services and brings 25 years of health care industry experience to the job. In 1997, J.J. created, launched, and managed the Fishing Partnership Health Plan, reducing uninsured fishing families in Massachusetts by 75%. When the ACA made insurance available to independent workers, he expanded the mission and renamed the company Fishing Partnership Support Services (FPSS). FPSS acts as a human resources agency for fishing families, offering critical programs including health insurance enrollment assistance, direct health services and education, behavioral health services, and more. J.J and FPSS have received many honors and awards, including the 2017 Leadership Award from the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative for FPSS’ work to combat the opioid crisis. J.J. received his Bachelors’ degree from Harvard University and holds an MBA from Boston University with a concentration in health care management.
