Nasir started out his career in 2006 working for Shell Chemicals in the UK as a Process Technologist rotating through various production facilities and implementing asset changes to reduce or eliminate personal and process safety risk through the use of HAZOPS and LOPA. Nasir joined Dow Chemical in 2010 and was accountable for the implementation of Dow's Middle East Innovation Center establishment including lab construction and implementation of Dow's operating discipline management system encompassing policies, requirements, processes, best practices and procedures associated with EH&S. Now based in the US, Nasir is accountable to provide expertise in personal safety and drive improvements in Dow's global personal safety performance to ensure the well-being of employees and contractors, and achieve Dow’s 2025 World Leading Operations goals.
