In her more than 25 years of experience with Safety Performance Solutions, Sherry has helped hundreds of organizations improve their safety performance by managing the human dynamics of safety. These efforts usually involve evaluating the safety culture of an organization and then working with the organization to create and implement specific culture change initiatives in areas such as leadership development, employee engagement, and safety management systems design. She also specializes in human performance improvement and error reduction (HOP). Among Sherry's most recognized clients are Bristol-Myers Squibb, Corning, Estee Lauder, ExxonMobil, Kiewit, Honeywell, Toyota, General Dynamics, NRG Energy and, of course, Webcor. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. from Virginia Tech in industrial and systems engineering with a concentration in human factors engineering and ergonomics.
