Damian Black finished as the highest scoring computer science graduate from the University of Manchester before setting out on a highly successful career in the high tech software sector, with senior management positions at HP, XACCT and Followap. He holds 11 US patents, was a finalist in the 1995 International Management Challenge and is now co-founder of SQLstream, the leading streaming analytics company. In this capacity, Damian Black has appeared on panels, shows, and one-man productions in events such as Structure, Oracle Open World, Strata, and BBC specials.
