Walter Garcia Brooks is a Field Applications Engineer for TT Electronics / OPTEK Technology. Walter has been in the optoelectronics industry since 2004 and has held the following positions in the past: Test Engineer, Product Engineer, Business Development Manager and Field Applications Engineering Director.  He received his BSEE from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2004 and his MBA in 2014. Most recently, Walter has been a Field Applications Engineer for the US-East Region.  In addition to this, Walter has several years of experience developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their technical requirements.  Walter has over 8 years of experience as an Applications Engineer providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education as well as after-sales support to clients, distributors and sales engineers.  As a Design Product Engineer, Walter developed several innovative optoelectronic sensors within TT Electronics / Optek Technology.
