Mike joined Sika Corporation in January 2005. Prior to joining Sika, Mike held various positions within The Home Depot so this made him a perfect fit for the fast growing Sika Retail team. In 2007, Mike accepted a new challenge by joining the Sika sales team for Wood Floor Bonding adhesives. Again, Mike quickly showed his sales and marketing skills by significantly impacting sales on the West Coast. While at the same time, Mike developed strong relationships with the largest and most influential distributors in this new business arena. Becoming an asset to the instructors at the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) was a major focus for Mike at this time. In 2014, Mike was promoted to District Manager of the Western US for Interior Finishing, which included the wood floor bonding business in addition to Sika’s new line of SikaLevel and moisture mitigation products for Interior Finishing of floors. In 2017 he was promoted to Vice President of Sales – Interior Finishing, taking on the challenge of heading the Interior Finishing team and growing this dynamic business for Sika. He was also asked to sit on the board of the National Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD). Mike believes flooring and the methods of installing flooring products are always changing. Innovation and being first to market is key to providing the industry the best products and installations to the customers. He has a true passion for the flooring industry and wants to make sure our industry grows successfully.
