Dr. Simons is a Professor at the Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University with over 45 publications on real estate, urban redevelopment, environmental damages, housing policy and brownfields redevelopment. He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) since 1983 and served as President of the American Real Estate Society (ARES) in 2011-2012.
