Liz S. Miranda assumed the responsibility of Director of the Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) in November 2015. She was selected to the Senior Executive Service effective 8 January 2017. As the Director of the CECOM ILSC, Ms. Miranda serves as the command’s senior leader in developing a vision, strategy and implementation plans necessary to achieve an integrated enterprise approach to logistics for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) weapon systems. Ms. Miranda provides leadership and guidance to a global organization of more than 2,000 employees in over 20 countries and 100 sites, with an annual budget in excess of $1.2B. She leads the eight directorates that form the ILSC in core competencies of national inventory control point, national maintenance point, life cycle & logistics support planning, production & industrial base management, field training & technical assistance, performance based logistics, security assistance to allied nations, and communications security (COMSEC) logistics. Prior to this assignment, Ms. Miranda served as Director of the CECOM Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management/G8, where she was the principal and top advisor to the Commanding General for integrated planning, programming, budgeting, financial management and execution of the command’s estimated annual budget of $3B and over 7,600 civilian and military manpower authorizations. Ms. Miranda also served as the Executive Officer to the Deputy to the Commanding General for Operations and Support, Chief of the Reset Plans and Execution Branch in the Logistics and Readiness Center (LRC), and Deputy Chief of the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Program Office in the Software Engineering Center (SEC).
