Dr. Srinivas Banna is a Fellow & Director of Advanced Device Architecture at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where his main focus area is advanced FinFET devices, novel 3D concepts and their impact on SoC technology architecture. His research interests include novel device concepts, device modeling & characterization, process integration and innovative device concepts impact on SoC technology architecture and eco system. Prior to joining GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Dr Banna worked at Lattice Semiconductors on FPGAs and four generations of flash memory technologies at Intel Corporation, Santa Clara, CA. He has worked in multiple start-up companies to bring up advanced embedded memory and low power SoC technologies using novel device concepts. Dr. Banna has a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, Hong Kong. Srinivasa has a bachelor degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering with Distinction from Andhra University, India and post graduate degree in Modeling & Simulation from the University of Poona, India. Dr. Banna authored 20+ publications and has been granted over 10 US patents.
