Craig Armiento is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the founder/Co-Director of the Raytheon-UMass Lowell Research Institute (RURI). He also serves as Director of the Printed Electronics Research Collaborative (PERC). His research is focused on printed RF/microwave electronics and additive microelectronic packaging. Craig had twenty years of industry experience leading projects at GTE Laboratories (Verizon) on Fiber-to-the-Home and optoelectronic hybrid integration. He was Director of Optical Networking at Lightchip Optical Networks. He has over 100 publications/presentations and 16 U.S. patents. He received his Ph.D. and two Masters Degrees from MIT and a BSEE from Manhattan College.
