Col George R. Nagy is the Chief, Space Support to Operations Division, Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force for Space, Washington D.C. He is a fully-qualified joint specialty officer. During his career, Colonel Nagy has held a variety of leadership positions in intercontinental ballistic missile operations, training and evaluation, space system developmental and operational testing, and space/nuclear policy and strategy development. Currently he leads a 20-person multi-service team advising the Secretary of the Air Force (in the capacity of Principal Department of Defense Space Advisor to the Secretary of Defense) on critical U.S. space capabilities, plans, policies and acquisitions.
