William Hreha

William Hreha is an experienced telecommunications network architect with 35 years of experience in government and commercial space activities. His diverse background includes: national wired and wireless network architecture, space and ground segment systems engineering; program and engineering management; and communication product management. As advanced system architect he defined first of its kind narrowband (TerreStar) and wideband (Sky Muster™) SATCOM systems. He earlier led MILSTAR LDR and MDR satellite Design, Integration, verification, and validation activities as well as user terminal to space pre-launch performance verification. Mr. Hreha received BS and MS degrees from the University of Southern California, has been published in international periodicals, and holds five patents on systems that improve satellite resiliency. In his position at SSL, Mr. Hreha is responsible for mission solutions, feature definition, and mission driven technology roadmaps for multiple product lines.
