Mr. Lemaire brings 25 years of extensive experience from a not-for-profit association perspective, with a focus on vertically integrated supply chains, government relations, advocacy, marketing/ communications, public private partnerships, capacity building and food systems thinking. Working and with the fresh produce world for over 16 years, Ron endeavours to keep one foot firmly planted on the ground and the other stepping aggressively into a world of fast-paced change, that includes global regulatory swings, disruptive technology advancements and the ever changing consumer demands and expectations. In his role as CPMA President, Mr. Lemaire has worked to represent the needs and interests of over 850 international and Canadian members. CPMA’s Canadian and international members truly represent the success of integrated markets are responsible for over 90% of the fresh fruit and vegetable sales in Canada.
