Ben Kregel has worked at ComEd for about ten years and is currently a Principal Project Manager in the Grid Modernization team, introducing synchrophasor technology at distribution voltages. Prior to that, Ben worked as an engineer in the Distribution Automation group designing restoration schemes and implementing sensor technology. Ben focuses on grid infrastructure and intelligent devices on the Smart Grid such as the first community energy storage project in Chicagoland. He studied Electrical Engineering at Iowa State University and holds a PE license in Illinois.
