Bill is a computer scientist who has dedicated his career delivering technology solutions to utilities. He has worked in a variety of roles - developer/engineering manager for ABB's outage management system product, director of software at Sensus Metering, various consulting projects for integration, MDMS, and system architecture, co-founder of Windmill Networks (a network management startup), and as lead solutions architect at Consert, Inc. Bill has worked extensively on ESB-based integration using the CIM model. He has nearly thirty years experience with technology for distribution utilities. He has served as the lead architect and developer for numerous T&D real time system solutions. In his spare time, Bill is the administrator of an online chess website. Bill has considerable experience in C++ and C# based applications using the Esri base technology layer. Bill has experience as a developer, architect, and senior application development manager with a series of Fortune-500 companies. Bill has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
