Dr. Gerry Harvey is Founder and VP of Engineering at OnScale. He is an expert in multiphysics Finite Element Analysis (FEA), with an emphasis on massive design space optimization studies. Dr. Harvey helped build the PZFlex development team at Weidlinger Applied Sciences, and has worked as the director of business development of Fortune 100 customers on projects of design, simulation and optimization of next-generation MEMS sensors and other components. Dr. Harvey received his Ph.D. in High Intensity Ultrasonic Systems from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. He has worked on the development of novel conformable piezoelectric transducers for the NDE industry in addition to several consultancy programs in transducer design and product realization for the SONAR, medical and food industries. With over 50 publications across a range of applications, Dr. Harvey is an active member of the IEEE, BINDT, as well as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). He is an active reviewer for several IEEE journals.
