Marnelle Fanfan




Marnelle is originally from Brooklyn (NY) byway of Jacmel, Haiti. She came to Virginia State University (VSU) in 2009 to study business management with a concentration in human resources. During her time at VSU, she started giving back to her hometown by organizing toy drives for orphanages in Jacmel. In 2013, she was hired as an intern for the Petersburg Department of Culture Affairs, Art and Tourism and was later hired full time as an administrative assistant. Marnelle graduated from VSU in 2014 and plans on seeking a master’s degree in tourism.
