John is the Vice President of Development and General Counsel for Meybohm Real Estate, a development, asset management and brokerage company based in Augusta, Georgia. John specializes in the underwriting, financing, structuring and closing of complex real estate and private equity investments. Prior to Meybohm, John practiced as an attorney at two international law firms in Atlanta where he focused on private equity, technology, real estate, funds and alternative investments. While in private practice, John represented companies in the formation, financing, acquisition and disposition of various types of investments and operating companies. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, an MBA in Finance, and a law degree, all with honors from the University of Georgia.
