Mr. Louis Crain is a native of Nacogdoches, Texas. He entered the Army in 1986 and served 21 plus years as a Signal Soldier. He began his career as a Tactical Communications Systems Operator (31V). His assignments span the scope of tactical and strategic, holding all levels of leadership from squad leader to 1SG. He has been retired since 2008 and continues to work as a government contractor, making a difference for Soldiers in today’s formations. His current job is as a Lessons and Best Practices analyst.
