Mr. Jacob Neal entered the Army September 11, 1992 and served 21 Years as a Signal Soldier. He began his Signal career as a 31L (now 25L), Wire Systems Installer Maintainer, affectionately known as "Cable Dawgs". Mr. Neal trans-versed through the Signal Corps earning the Military Occupational Specialty(s) of a 25Q, Transmission System Specialist, 25B, Information Technology Specialist and culminated as a 25W, Telecommunications Operations Chief. He has been assigned to tactical, strategic, as well as Echelons Above Corps units during his tenure. He retired in 2013 and is currently proudly serving as a Lessons and Best Practice Analyst. Mr. Neal adamantly believes that although he retired and was told he could stop wearing the uniform…he was never told to stop serving!
