Chief Warrant Officer 2 James Gill has 14 years of Active Duty Service with six years as a Warrant Officer. He graduated from American Military University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Military History. He enlisted in the Army Reserve in 2001 as a Signal Support Systems Specialist (MOS 25U), and transitioned to Active Duty in 2003. He became a 290A Electronic Warfare Technician in 2011. He has deployed with the 1st Armored Division to Operation Iraqi Freedom, the 864th Engineer Battalion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and US Army Central in support of Operation Spartan Shield. CW2 Gill was previously assigned as the Electronic Warfare Observer Controller/Trainer with Operations Group, National Training Center supporting 25 rotations of Armored, Stryker and Infantry Brigade Combat Teams. CW2 Gill was reassigned to the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence in 2017. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, six Army Commendation Medals, and four Army Achievement Medals.
