Brian Young is a retired Supervisory Special Agent (GS-15) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Brian established himself as a dynamic and innovative public sector executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in Federal and State agencies. He brings extensive management experience from the FBI having provided National Security leadership and expertise (as an advisor) to Cabinet Level Officials and Agency Heads of the United States Government (USG). Brian possesses a proven track record of strategic programmatic leadership that drove the FBI’s mission and allowed Senior USG Officials opportunities to remain result driven leaders. All this was accomplished while building diverse teams and transforming vision into reality; particularly distinguishing himself as an investigative and intelligence professional within the Defense Industrial Base, acquisition and procurement communities. Brian leverages his experiences to deliver unique solutions to key stakeholders during engagements. As a Director in KPMG’s Federal Advisory Practice; Forensics/Risk Management service lines. Brian upon retirement from federal service joined the firm in a leadership role leading and directing engagements designing innovative approaches to a myriad of complex issues. Among the clients he has advised, have been several cabinet level offices and agencies addressing change management, transitioning business processes, forensic examinations in audits and strategic planning. Additionally, he has interjected in the delivery technology and strategic planning for workforce and business process transformation. Brian brings a real world perspective based in the public sector along with solid and proven business methodologies and frameworks.
