Dave Besel is a security leader and practitioner with over two decades of experience in communications and computer network defense and exploit operations (aka Cyber). A 20-year navy veteran with assignments in ship-board and satellite communications, computer network administration, penetration testing, security assessments and analysis, cyber security operations and management, and DoD/military cyber policy development. He retired as the Navy's first Cyber Warrant Officer, and spent two additional years as a civilian Technical Director, manager and Master Operator within the Department of Defense's cyber intelligence workforce. He now leads an elite team of professional cyber instructors and practitioners as the Director of Operations at Chiron Technologies, Inc, where he regularly interfaces with DoD and civilian customers and partners to develop and deliver the very best in Cybersecurity training.
