LTC Bill Platte currently is serving as the Officer In charge of the Cyber Battle Lab’s Cyber Enterprise Security Center, The Cyber and Electromagnetic Activity (CEMA) Future Experimentation Branch, and the CEMA Modeling and Simulation Branch. Responsible for developing, testing and refining CEMA Tactics, Techniques and Procedures in a closed, SECRET wide area network using end-to-end encryption to support the ARCIC Modeling & Simulation community and Future Concepts development for the Army. His previous assignments include Combat Analyst and Simulations officer at the TRADOC Analysis Center (TRAC) in Monterey, CA, Joint Modeling and Simulation Officer, Joint Modeling and Simulation Division (JAMSD), Army Capabilities Integration Center, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command ARCIC LNO Officer to LTG Walker Bagram, Afghanistan, 2ID Korea G3 Training and Exercise Officer, Secretary General Staff Fort Gordon, GA, Quick Reaction Force Co CDR, Signal Co CDR A/447, Signal CO XO E/369 Fort Gordon, GA, Signal Platoon Leader CINC CMD Post TANGO Bunker Korea. LTC Platte was commissioned through the ROTC program at North Georgia College as a Signal Corps Officer in 1996, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He received a Master’s degree in education from Troy State University and a Master’s degree in Modeling and Simulation from Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA. LTC Platte is a graduate of Signal Officer Basic Course and Advanced Course,S6 Course, Advanced Network Course, Data Scientist Course at John Hopkins University, Cisco Router Level 3 Course, System Engineer Certificate from Naval Postgraduate School, United States Army Command and General Staff College, the Knowledge Management Course and Simulations Operations Course.
