Michel LeClerc, 57, is Chief Financial Officer for North State Grocery, Inc., a northern California, 100% employee-owned grocery chain, where he oversees accounting and finance, legal and compliance, real estate, fiduciary, corporate governance and risk management matters. Mr. LeClerc currently serves on the Board of Directors of the California Grocers Association and chairs the Association’s Government Relations Committee. Mr. LeClerc also serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Ascension Project, which develops leadership skills of young men and women through competitive tennis. Prior to his current position, Mr. LeClerc spent 20 years in private law practice, the last ten as partner at Hansen LeClerc, LLP in Redding, CA. Mr. LeClerc earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1989, after completing his undergraduate studies at CSU Sacramento.
