Matthew Hunter served for over 25 years for the Army as a Soldier and Department of the Army Civilian. He has 6 years of experience writing Cyberspace, Signal, and Electronic Warfare doctrine for the Army and providing input to joint and multi-service doctrine. Matthew is a retired intelligence analyst with experience across various theaters. He gained specialized experience in cyberspace and signal threat analysis and capabilities development during his military career, as a government contractor, and as a Department of the Army civilian. He was the primary author of FM 6-02, guided other doctrine publications, and participates in various joint and multi-service doctrine publication working groups. As the author of FM 3-12, he brought together the input of over 40 organizations from all echelons of service to achieve final publication.
