Patricia Arredondo
Patricia Arredondo, PhD., is the former president of Chicago campus of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP). She previously served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Senior Vice President for Student Affairs, Arizona State University and as founder and president of Empowerment Workshops, Inc. As of June 2015, she has assumed a new position with TCSPP as Senior Advisor for Institutional Initiatives. She is a licensed psychologist. A national scholar, extensively published in the areas of multicultural competencies, immigrant and Latina/o mental health, women’s leadership and, organizational diversity. She has more than 100 publications to her credit; her latest book is Culturally Responsive Counseling for Latinas/os. She has served as president of four national guild associations and held leadership positions on non-profit boards. Currently, she is on the Advisory Board for DiversityMBA Magazine in Chicago and chairs the Board of Professional Affairs for the American Psychological Association
