LTC Robert Cannaday has over 23 years of military service. LTC Cannaday, native of Newport News, VA, was commissioned in the Signal Corps upon graduating from the University of Florida in 1994. His most recent assignments include Science and Technology Chief at the Maneuver Center of Excellence, Assistant J6 IT Portfolio Management, Pacific Command (USPACOM), Assistant PM for Navigation Systems, Los Angeles Air Force Base with a deployment with the Headquarters to Afghanistan where he served with the 82nd Airborne Division as an LNO for Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S). In July 2016 he was assigned as the Assistant TRADOC Capability Manager for Tactical Radios, U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, Georgia.
