Lawrence Abrams is a Senior Security Analyst at ADP, where he works in the Critical Incident Response Center (CIRC). Throughout the course of his career, Lawrence has responded to network attacks by hunting and illuminating the adversary as well as performing penetrations tests on a wide range of government networks and technologies. Prior to ADP, Lawrence was a network specialist for the Cyber Protection Brigade (CPB) where he deployed to assess, defend and maintain key cyber assets. Prior to the CPB, Lawrence worked for Northrup Grumman assigned to the Regional Computer Emergency Response Team – South (RCERT-South) in multiple roles defending networks all over the world, penetration testing DoD systems, and deploying to protect specific Areas of Responsibility. He also gained information security experience in a variety of industries including previous positions in control systems, media, and higher education. Lawrence regularly contributes to the GRR Rapid Response (GRR) open source project. GRR is Google’s open source live incident response framework focused on remote live forensics. He is also a board member of BSidesAugusta, a collection of likeminded InfoSec individuals that put on a yearly information security conference in Augusta, GA.
