Bill Wainscott is an experienced claims professional with over 30 years of experience in Risk Management, Employee Health & Safety, and Claims Management. He holds a degree in Safety, a Masters in Industrial Safety, and a professional Risk Management designation (ARM). He is a frequent presenter at national conferences. As a member of International Paper’s Environmental, Health, Safety Department (EHS) Bill manages Global Occupational Health programs and the Occupational Care and Recovery programs for occupational injuries and illnesses. International Paper’s Occupational Care and Recovery program is focused on minimizing the impact an injury or illness might have on employees and their family. Bill is a past Risk Innovator of the Year recipient, and a past Risk & Insurance Teddy Award winner. He has also served on the National Work Comp Conference board and is a co-chair of the 2017 Conference. Bill resides in Memphis, TN (yes, home of Elvis!) International Paper is a global leader in packaging and paper. Its businesses include industrial and consumer packaging and uncoated papers.
