Army Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Major is the Product Director for the Global Command and Control System Joint Enterprise for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). In this role, he provides enterprise Command and Control environments for the Department of Defense, other U.S. Government Agencies and Allies across the full spectrum of military operations. He graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, where he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Signal Corps. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Management from the University of Maryland University College and a Master in Business Administration from George Washington University. His first assignment was in Kitzingen, Germany, with the 17th Signal Battalion where he served as Platoon Leader for C Company. Patrick served as the Task Force 793d Military Police Battalion S6 where he deployed to Kosovo under Operation Joint Guardian. His next assignment was at Fort Sill, OK, where he served as the 75th Field Artillery Brigade S6 and was attached to the 1st Cavalry Division for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He commanded B Company, 302d Signal Battalion at Fort Meade, MD. He was the Assistant Product Manager for Product Manager Information Warfare at Fort Meade, MD. He was the Assistant Product Manager for Product Manger Force Protection Systems at Fort Belvoir, VA, and deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom in support of the International Security Assistance Force. His last duty assignment was Survivability Evaluation Officer, US Army Evaluation Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. He was previously the Branch Chief of Operations, Implementation and Sustainment for the Multinational Information Sharing Division at DISA.
