Angela Lagos is passionate about the diversity around us. She considers it her job to learn as much as she can about people. She is eager to learn more about the human experience & an avid fan of learning from others. She is passionate about people’s stories & the insights gained from identifying themes & trends across demographics. With a BA in Psychology & minor in Legal Studies from UCF & MA in Industrial Organization Psychology from Concordia University of Chicago, she has held some HR leadership roles: Human Resources Director, Employee Services Director & Regional HR Training Director with Crowne Plaza & Holiday Inn. Angela happily joined the Universal Orlando Resort family leading Management Training & Leadership Development in 2004. She has delivered leadership training programs for its parent companies Comcast NBC Universal, Telemundo and previously some General Electric Crotonville programming. She moved into a new leadership role within Universal Parks & Resorts; as Senior Manager of D&I. Responsible for the creation & management of 7 Diverse Team Member Resource Groups; encompassing the following demographics: African Americans, Asian Pacific Americans, LGBTA, Hispanic Americans, Varying Abilities, Veterans & Women. She relishes the opportunity to share the world-class entertainment & one of kind cutting-edge attractions that Universal Parks & Resorts offer its Guests & Team Members across the globe. Her passion lies in Workforce, Workplace & Marketplace themes that focus on engaging & leading diverse demographics to elevate Cultural Competence. He personal mission is to positively impact the human experience, enhance the landscape of the organization to support & drive business results.
