Independent Fermentations Brewing
Kim is the kombucha brewer and sales manager at Independent Fermentations (IndieFerm) Brewing in Plymouth, MA. She started homebrewing kombucha in her kitchen six years ago and gradually increased her production from one gallon to five gallons. At IndieFerm, she brews 90 gallons of kombucha every week and has over twenty SCOBYS in her SCOBY Hotel to prove it. Kim believes the process of brewing kombucha is special and she has a passion for educating others on the history and science of kombucha. She offers several kombucha homebrewing classes a year at IndieFerm Brewing.
