Suzy Braden is the Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager for HealthSouth Corporation., Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, HealthSouth is one of the nation’s largest providers of post-acute healthcare services; with 123 hospitals and 25,000+ employees in the US and Puerto Rico. She is responsible for all aspects of the workers’ compensation program; along with overseeing the occupational safety and health and litigation management. She has been in risk management and workers’ compensation claims management for over 18 years. She has served on the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Organization (AWCO) board for 10 years. She is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and earned her Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional (CWCP) certificate in March 2016.
