Sharon Mitchell, a Senior Instructor for ECS Federal, has been teaching the 3 day DISA Services Course since 2002 and the DISA Services Executive Brief since its inception in 2016. She is responsible for developing, maintaining and conducting these DISA Services Courses to help mission partners understand DISA, the broad range of services DISA provides, the processes for obtaining those services, and resources for assistance. Prior to teaching this course Ms. Mitchell was a software instructor for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) providing both classroom and desk-side instruction. She worked for the office of the Secretary of Defense and began her training career as a technical instructor for the US Peace Corps in Guatemala. Ms. Mitchell is a proponent of defining all acronyms, though she is proficient in DISA acronym-speak.
