Chris Evanich is the Director of Microgrid Business Development for S&C Electric Company. He focuses on the global business development of Microgrids using renewable energy, medium voltage switching, protection, energy storage and controls. He has over 14 years of experience in the Electrical Power industry and has a wide range of experience in Power Distribution, Renewable Energy and Smart Grid components and architecture. Chris has given over 45 industry presentations and has been published in over a dozen different publications worldwide. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He is a 16-year Senior member of the IEEE including participation in the Standards Association and participation as an IEEE PES Scholar Mentor.
