Nelle Wyatt is a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician. She has worked as the Behavior Technician with a Boarded Veterinary Behaviorist at the University of Tennessee Veterinary Medical Center since 2011. Nelle completed requirements for CPDT-KA in 2010. She has been a Certified Fear Free Veterinary Professional since 2016 and became a Certified Fear Free Animal Trainer in 2017. Nelle developed a strong interest in non-aversive training techniques while competing with her own hounds in obedience, agility, and lure coursing. Her interest in animal behavior peeked in 1999 after attending the DOGS Course!!! offered through the Animal Behavior Clinic at Purdue University. After completion of the course she began offering reward based puppy and dog training classes and implementing an even more cooperative approach when interacting with her patients.
