Cary Eskow is Global Director of IoT Security and Smart Lighting Programs at Avnet. He has published approximately 80 articles and papers on various aspects of LED and system-level design, and is a frequent speaker at international connected lighting, photobiology and medical electronics conferences. His prior development work includes attack surface analysis, DPA and high-speed implementations of the Rijndael cypher, from which the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is based. He is a member of UL-8750 Standards Technical Committee at Underwriters Laboratories, advisory board member of Strategies in Light and of Lightfair International. Other past work includes systems for pulmonary delivery of micronized insulin and LED-based optical image classifiers.
