Michele Adams is the Vice President of Risk Management Services at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. She has spent more than twenty years at the Walt Disney World Resort where she leads a very dynamic and diverse team who manage all aspects of the resort’s risk management program. Michele is the past-Chair and Executive Committee Member of the Medicare Advocacy and Recovery Coalition; serves on the Boards of the Florida Self Insured Guaranty Association and the Florida Justice Reform Institute; is a member of the Florida and National Advisory Committees for the Workers’ Compensation Research Institute; and is a member of the Executive Committee of the National Council of Self-Insureds. Michele is a national speaker on a wide range of topics involving risk management and workers’ compensation. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Rollins College and her Masters in Business Administration from the Crummer School of Business, Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Michele is a native Floridian and when she is not working, is an avid reader and enjoys working out, running, and spending time with her children.
