Over the past decade Vince’s leadership of the operations team at Lakeland has realized many accomplishments including; expanding the waterpower generation capacity 700%; creation of a fibre optic and communications division which provides the fastest internet available in Canada; power distribution system automation and merging operations departments. Vince has participated on various working groups with the Electricity Distributors Association, Cornerstone Hydro-Electric Concepts, and currently sits on the board of directors for the Ontario Waterpower Association. Lakeland’s team was successful in being awarded one of the top three smart grids most innovative projects in Canada, named SPEEDIER, and one of top three most powerful projects between Canada and the UK, with Natural Resource Canada’s Power Forward campaign with a project named DEMOCRASI.
