JODIE MASSINGILL has been in the claims and risk management arena for 30 years. She currently is the Senior Manager, Casualty Claims for Sysco Corporation in Houston, Texas. Her prior experience includes work at Wortham Risk and Insurance, LP, as Associate Director – Broker Accounts from 2002 to 2012 and at Fleming Companies from 1989 through 2002 where she rose to the position of Claims Manager. Jodie has also worked as a Claims Examiner at such companies as Yellow Freight Systems, Inc., Liberty Northwest Insurance Company and Employee Benefits Insurance Company. Jodie’s educational background includes training in commercial insurance, risk management, risk finance, safety and human resources management at the University of Central Oklahoma. Jodie’s career accomplishments include creating and maintaining claim, litigation and vendor management programs; claim auditing; cost containment and training programs; handling and advisory risk management activities in fifty states representing $75 million in incurred costs for employer(s), performing quality review of third party claims administration, integrity of reserves and cost containment practices.
