Al Banos is a Cummins veteran of 22 years. Through his Cummins career, Al has led key Cummins programs on business development, standardization of business processes in the distribution network and B2B aftermarket improvement projects with key accounts and partners. Al has worked in the areas of Engineering, Service, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Business Transformation, Data Enabled Solutions and he is currently an Innovation Director in the Digital Accelerator division. Al is leading the digital innovation efforts of piloting new technologies to enhance the safety process for technicians in the Cummins distributor network. A native of Mexico, Al started his Cummins career in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Al got his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terra Haute, Indiana.
