Randy Frye

District 67, Indiana State House of Representatives


Randy Frye was elected to serve Indiana’s House District (HD) 67 in November 2010. HD 67 includes Ohio and Switzerland counties as well as portions of Ripley, Decatur, Jennings, Jefferson and Dearborn counties in southeastern Indiana. Rep. Frye attended Cincinnati Christian College, graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree. In December of 2010, Rep. Frye retired from the Indianapolis Fire Department after 26 years of service as a professional firefighter. That same year he was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives where he serves as Chairman of the Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee. He also serves on the Roads and Transportation Committee and the Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications Committee. Representative Frye envisions government as a tool to help the citizens of Indiana. His vision is to see that government provides the leadership to help citizens be successful while keeping government small and taxes to a minimum.
