Roy Lum and his team lead Pacific Gas & Electric Company information technology strategy and planning for Gas and Electric Lines of Business with a major focus on Grid modernization and Smart Grid technology R&D initiatives. Roy started his career as a Meteorologist in the US Air Force and has worked in several senior technology leadership roles in defense, transportation/logistics, insurance, government, and electric/gas utility sectors. He holds a BS degree in Geology from the University of California at Davis and an MS degree from Boston University in Computer Information Systems.
