Chris is a GIS Systems Analyst with the City of Virginia Beach. He is currently assigned to the position of Public Safety GIS Functional Team Lead and works with all of the City’s Public Safety Departments to coordinate, assist with and promote GIS technology. Chris has participated in most aspects of GIS from functioning as a GIS analyst to project management responsible for multiple projects. He has extensive field data collection experience in both engineering and UXO remediation projects. For the past 3 years Chris has been working in public safety GIS and internet based mapping application development. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Geography from Old Dominion University.
